Autism: Video Modeling and Perception of Emotion
2003 UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute Summer Series on Neurodevelopmental Disorders presents Blythe Corbett, a pediatric neuropsychologist who diagnoses and assesses children, adolescents and young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders. She specializes in autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In this presentation Dr. Corbett describes her work studying applications of video modeling, a behaviorally based treatment using the video medium to teach skills to children with autism spectrum disorders who have problems perceiving the emotions and social cues of others.
