A NYC College Program for Students with ASDs

For those parents who are concerned about your Aspie son/daughter's transition from high school to college, Pace University may be a great option. The BOSS (Build on Special Strengths) program has been developed for high functioning students on the autistic spectrum who have demonstrated the potential for tackling college level material. The students are fully integrated into undergraduate classes, reside in the dormatories with support, and are eligible for Associates or Bachelor's degrees.

Services include (1) special admissions process and criteria; (2) individualized advisement and supervision for course selection; (3) academic and residential support/accommodations; (4) career development; and (5) integration into community organizations.

For futher information, please contact Dr. Dianne Zager at Dzager@pace.edu or (212) 346-1885.
