I believe they should focus more on the long term care of the lower functioning. I think they are to harsh and they need to drop the whole " we can find a cure" attitude.

I am a 23 year old psych major. I have a non verbal learning disability and I am a former aspie girlfriend. I am currently working with children on the spectrum.
